With Dwayne Wade out indefinitely, can the Miami Heat finish strong towards the end of the season?

And can they move up to the playoffs like they have done before?

If Wade is actually out for the season, it's likely they will either make the playoffs as the 8th seed or get beat out by a team that gets hot (possibly new york or new jersey - new jersey could make a playoff push since they didn't deal at the deadline). I haven't looked at upcomming schedules for the teams but Wade is too important and I expect the Heat will only win around a third or if they play well half of their remaining games. Needless to say, some other team will probably have a decent second half of the season and take that final playoff spot.

the probabilities of Wade leaving Miami are not very extreme for many motives. One, Wade won't be interested in any group that could arise with the money for him apart from Chicago. besides the incontrovertible fact that, Chicago would not have that a lot cap area and does no longer grant Wade too a lot. 2, Miami has a lot of cap area and has sufficient money to land Wade Bosh or perhaps Lebron at their cutting-edge contracts. Now that blend will needless to say by no skill happen, it exhibits how a lot the warmth have. they'll likely land yet another expertise including Bosh or perchance Boozer. third, there is not any earnings tax interior the state of Florida so Wade might make a lot greater earnings Miami.

It is possible with all the other great players on the team. Jason Kapano, Gary Payton, James Posey, Shaq, Antowan Walker, Alonzo Mourning, and Jason Williams they still have a shot at it. Hey this is not a team that gives up very easily.

They can because they have Shaq. But with no Wade its going to be 10 times more difficult because it will be easier to bring the double and triple team to Shaq because the Heat don't have any other real scoring threat with Wade out.

I say no, either the Nets or even the Knicks will edge past them at the end of the season. Needless to say the NBA champion will be coming out of the Western conference.

I think the Heat finish undefeated and beat the Clippers in the Finals.
