I've been dating this great girl that sounds like a girl and have everything for a girl. It has been 8 years. I really really love her and she really really loves me. I was even planning to marry her. She told me that she was a born a guy. What should I do? I don't want to continue dating her even though I am head over heels with her. I asked her parents if this is true, and they confirmed it. She was born a guy and had a sex change.
Next time when I date someone, how can i tell if they are a true female that was born a female? I don't want to date anyone that is a female that is born a male.

Wow... that is a complex situation. My opinion, and you may not like it, is this... Love is love. If you are in love with her as you say you are then I wouldn't give it up for anything else in the world. Yes, she should have been more upfront and honest with you. Did you ask her why she didn't tell you sooner? There are too many variables to consider... but it boils down to this. Follow your heart. Are you willing to risk the possibility that you may never find someone else as special as she is and that you love as much as you love her? If you are willing to risk it, then go right ahead. If not, you might want to give it a lot of though before you throw away what you have with her. Good luck.

Your great girl knew how to get your attention because she was a guy and she knew exactly what guy wanted. Follow your heart, you already know the answer; you just wanted confirmation.

My advice to you when dating someone and you want to make sure that she is a true female, look at her hands and her shoulders. Women have very distinguished hands and shoulders; one other clue is her strength.

I'm sorry, but WHY don't you want to date anyone who has had a 'sex change' ... I doubt that it's because you really want 'children' since you dated this really great girl for eight years before she told you about her 'earlier' sex change ... but I frankly think that maybe you should just get to know your hand really well, since you aren't 'good enough' for any woman, born female or 'changed' female.

Something other than her gender change isn't quite right between you. If after all this time, she hasn't told you her secret, you don't have much of a relationship. Move on.

If it really is true, then maybe it's not the best match. She obviously wasn't honest with you about it until it was too late. And if you can't trust her, it won't work.

If you're head over heels for her, then what's the problem?

It didn't bother you before, and I guess you couldn't tell the difference...

Atleast she didn't tell you after the wedding.........!!!
