The truth if he/she likes you. And if they don't, obviously you do not see eye-to-eye and that is why you are looking for another position.

Whether your present supervisor loves you or could do without you - one thing is certain there have been some things your current sup liked or likes about you....

Talk about those - such as "my current supervisor would tell you about my punctuality and excellent attendance" or "in the role I hold today my current supervisor appreciates my organizational skills", etc...

Don't over do it - two - three things at most & you may want to even phrase it like that - "my current supervisor would look at you and say 3 things - punctual, organized, an asset to our team"...

HOPE THIS HELPS

Answer to the best of your abilities. If there is some conflict between you two, be truthful that you don't always see eye to eye, but you have learned how to respect each others differences.

Sometimes the interviewer just asks that question to see how aware of your environment you are, and if you can step out of yourself and see yourself through someone elses eyes.

Tell them he loves you but the reason you are leaving is to acquire a better position with a possibility of advancement
