I doubt George supports electric cars. His administration was instrumental in killing the California ZEV legislation that was forcing auto companies to market practical electric cars on the west coast. An excellent film that tells this story is called 'Who Killed the Electric Car.'
*
In place of the electric car program, we got a fuel cell program which was little more than attempt to stall so that no practical alternative fuel cars would be ready for decades, if ever.
*
The Phoenix electric car the president had his photo-op with was developed with no help or funding from the government whatsoever. This is not a car that will make the oil companies happy, so I fully expect George to go right back to ignoring it. (Or worse.)
*
The Phoenix has batteries developed based on research from MIT. The car has a range of up to 250 miles per charge, can charge batteries in only ten minutes, and the batteries will never wear out in the car's lifetime.
*
And it will never use a single drop of gasoline.
*
If you had connections to the oil industry, what would you think about this car?

First of all that is harassement, and second I say that you liberal nazis are so worried about the environment that you should probably be the one driving the car. And last, you claim to support our troops but wake up you don't, and yes I know about your husband. And last, please tell me that you can't have children.
