If he has made an Application, you will get the paperwork. You can't apply for custody and not receive notification and documents from the Court beforehand.

No, but the thing is, if he filed for custody, you MUST be served with the papers. He CAN'T keep you in the dark about this stuff because you have to go to court. So if he DID file, he has to serve you.

You can go to the clerk of the court and ask, also. Where I used to live, they would check for free to see if you had an open case against you.

Doesnt matter as you need to be served of any pending legal action against you and all the details such as the court date. So he can file all he wants, it wont do him any good cause you have to be there. So wait til the courts serve you with actual court papers. He can threaten all he wants to too as this definitely wont help his case. He has to prove you unfit with concrete evidence to gain custody.I dont see that happening so you have nothing to worry about here. The courts are actually on your side here. Good luck

yes he has, in its normal course, other wise your lawyer would be able to advise you or you can go to Daley center.
