I was on birth control for 3 months. How long after coming off the pill do your cycles retutn to their "normal" length?

Every person is different. While some can become pregnant just by missing one pill, others can take months off the pill to return to normal cycles. Usually, if your cycles haven't returned to normal within six months of stopping the pill, you may want to speak to your doctor.

Your cycle might never be the same. With any hormone change, including birth control or pregnancy, the effects on your cycle can be permanently changed. It may not be like it was on birth control, but it may never be like it was pre-birth control either. However it should be completely out of your system within a month.

I was on birth control for 6 years and it took one month for everything to return to normal.
