a few of the states do use different ones for them,and they rate them different also,a full size truck will say like 9000 lb series on them,they only do this so you have to pay a higher fee to tag them,but certain states do tag them different,good luck,i hope this help,s.

In Illinois, we have one letter at the beginning on our trucks. The cars have only numbers, unless they are vanity plates.

In Canada, The plate with the validation sticker is on the front, not the rear and in black.
