Dragons of legends are incorporated into other religions. When god buried dinosaur fossils in order to "test our faith" he intentionally left out dragon fossils so as not to reinforce the beliefs of other religions. Dragons were also left off of the ark because god knew that other cultures were using them in their religions so they all perished in the flood.

Dragons are mythical creatures created in stories and fairy tales.Earlier people believed that there were dragons but later on it was confirmed that they existed only in the legends.Dragons were considered as a powerful creature in China and Japan which came out of legends.

I don't think dragons (i.e. the fire-breathing, maiden-eating, killed by gallant knights type of dragon) ever really existed outside of legend and fairy tales.

If you mean dinosaurs or other giant lizards, there are plenty of fossils of them.

Dragons have always been part of myth and legend. They have never existed outside the imagination..

I guess dragons never really existed. Go to " logical fallacy " in wikipedia, as your question is one, though I forget the correct name of it. Affirming the consequent, I think.
