I'm not particularly for it, because of moral and scientific reasons. One, I thik it's wrong to create a human just because you can. Also, you would have to clone someone fairly early in life due to cells not being able to divide indefinitely (or they would be cancer cells). Cells have a set number of times they can go through mitosis and then they die. With many of the animal cloning experiments, they have had problems with this, with the animals showing premature aging or at least signs of aging (ie. disease, arthritis). So, wouldn't it be wrong to clone a human when they were an infant and they had no say if they should have another "them" wandering around the earth??

Human cloning at this point in time is very unethical. Clones that have been made from sheep have lived very short lives with many defects. The point is what if you were a clone and you had to grow up with deformities and living like a test rat. It is not right to put any living thing through all that. Another point is that no scientist has proven a safe way to clone oraganisms with out deformities.

Why would you?
Who is good enough to Clone?
Why go to all that effort to create a human when you abort millions of others every year?

I think just because you may have the technology and the resources to clone peole, doesnt mean you should necessarily do it. I dont see anything good from cloning. I think stem cell is where it's all at!
