i wanna get my belly button pierced what are the risks and does it hurt???

Does it hurt, not really. But, I guess it would depend on your sense of pain and as long as you have someone doing it who knows what they are doing, it should be ok. I felt nothing.
Risks, if you don't clean it daily and take care of it as they tell you to you will end up with one hell of an infection. Don't try to move the ring until they tell you that you can, then move it a bit daily, so it doesn't get stuck. This goes for more than just the beginning, it can get infected at anytime,but so can pierced ears. Remember one thing that is really important, that nobody told me at first, never put sterling silver into a pierced navel, it will cause a hell of a mess. Stick to gold, stainless steel, niobium, and titanium.

It usually works for most people. I have noticed that people with a belly bulge tend to get their piercing infected and irritated though. Me and my brother have weird skin that rejects jewelry and it slowly started pushing our piercings out. He had his eyebrow and I had my belly button.
