Hi my wireless card is hard to setup with ubuntu 6.06. I dont wanna go through the hassle of configuring it and stuff so please recommend some wireless cards that will be able to connect to wireless networks easily. Like just putting in the card and having it pop up saying its configured with no work from me. Then just connecting to networks with no configuring.
Thanks

Here's a list of wireless cards known to be compatible with Ubuntu. http://www.linuxemporium.co.uk/products/wireless/

If you have trouble setting up your card, try doing a search on the Ubuntu Forums http://www.ubuntuforums.rog/ Someone may have asked the same question before.

why don't you go to Ubuntu user group website and ask there for a driver for your wireless card,

better still go to opensuse.org, and download the best of Linux, down load the live DVD on Novell suse linux. that way you can run suse linux from the dvd and see if it will find your wireless card
