have you tried unplugging it? turning it on and off?
if all else fails, check the manual.

I have two heaters that shut off automatically, and they reset themselves after about 5 minutes. Sometimes, I unplug them for a while, but it's not necessary.

You may have to unplug it for a while and then try again?
