I think that as a free democracy, there should be concessions for the GLBT community to be socially and politically recognized. I think that people tend to forget the contributions as fellow members of society that the GLBT community offer. I think that there are many socio-economical situations to consider ie; estates, wills, living wills, financial accounts, insurance policies etc... And let's get real, we all know and love a GBLT person. A GBLT person is an American citizen; they need to be afforded the rights and privledges of all others. It is okay to tax and conform to the laws of this sovereignty, but refuse to give them equal rights and protections. I should hope that soon, the whole debate will fall away, and we all love and live, and agree to disagree and focus on the preservation of a global community celebrated not defined by its' differences.

It's quite simple really.
The reason I am against gay marriage is because God is against Gay marriage. It says so in the Bible.God created the woman for the man and not the woman for a woman or a man for a man.He wouln't have created women if gay marriage was his goal.
We are supposed to do everything according to God's will.We are not our own,we are God's property.

100% for it. The definition of marriage should be a union between 2 people of legal age. Restricting it to being between a man and a woman is discrimination. Along with marriage comes many rights that straight couples take for granted such as spousal insurance, social security after their parnter dies, custodial issues and being able to visit partner in hospital. Its important that we remember our past and learn from it today. This is a civil rights issue.

Against it. It is unnatural and no fruit can be produced from such a wicked union. It is a mockery of the union God created for man and woman. I don't care what anyone says on earth. It's what God said about it in a time before our time.

I am for it. They can call it marriage, holy union or whatever as long as it gives us the same rights as the hetero's.
