I think that is a factor in my recent homosexual tendancies and activities. What about others?
Its like the idea that some prisoners become gay whilst inside as they can't get any female nookie.

I think it's a myth. I know plenty of straight men who can't attract women who would never considering being with a man as a result of it. It's the same with women. Me personally, if I could never attract another woman for as long as I live, I would not disrespect who I am by finding a man.

It is possible for someone to be pseudohomosexual because of psychological deficiencies. Note the term pseudohomosexual, which means the person appears to be homosexual but in actual fact isn't.

A documented case of pseudohomosexuality was written by Joseph Wolpe in his book "Practice of behavioural therapy". He spoke about a "homosexual" male client who became heterosexual after overcoming interpersonal anxiety. Some would say the client wasn't homosexual to begin with.

There are also a lot of bisexuals who are "homosexual" or "heterosexual" leaning. This means they have some attraction to the other or same gender but don't act upon these feelings as they're not significant enough - or they're frightened of society. This would explain why some "heterosexual" men switch sides whilst in prison. They are also known as circumstantial bisexuals.

Ok, after I finished laughing at Matt B for being so brilliantly mislead.... The answer is no. I know these guy's who fail with women, they keep the printed porn industry alive and usually turn to fanatical devotion to hobbies like train spotting, or traction engine restoration. The world needs them, without them we'd have no steam rallies, no waterways left and no one would care a toss about the remaining penny black stamps.

Oh... Some of them catch Jesus... and hit the Anti gay league in thier local Matt B... I mean local church.

Don't think that's the case at all, you either fancy the female gender in a sexual way or you don't! admittedly there are bi-sexual people but your question relates to being gay and the factors associated with that. To test the nettle so to speak, it is possible to buy sex and by doing that! should sort out if your`e Gay-Bi-straight.

Attracting women has not been a problem for me. In fact, their feelings toward me made me profoundly uncomfortable because I couldn't reciprocate the attraction.

For your information, prisoners don't "become gay." I think it is much more likely that inmates, like many otherwise "straight" guys, have transient homoerotic urges that are usually repressed.

Moreover, prison rape is not about sexual attraction, deprivation, or satisfaction. Like any form of rape, it is about power and controlling others through terror.

Only if they were bisexual to start with.

Gay men are attracted to other men.

It is possible for men to have sex with other men without being attracted to them. They could imagine a woman or just focus purely on the pleasure, or some other way.

Having sex with a person of the same sex doesn't make you gay...
(like the prisoners - they don't necessarily become gay, they just have sex with men because there are no women around)

being gay means you are attracted to the same sex and can fall in love with them. having sex with a person is just a matter of being able to be aroused.

prisoners don't become gay. in prison, it's a matter of survival and need.

I agree, think that guys who think that they can't attract women can think that means they are gay which I don't think it does. I work with a guy is 28 and I don't think he has had girlfriend before so now hes not sure if hes gay or not but I don't think he is because he says that he won't have gay sex!! So yes I agree with you.
