Overprotective parents who hear horror stories how children write run on sentences without making much sense so we beat our children so they don't end up living with us forever.

Seriously, many parents do hear of the horror stories coming from accounts like My Space. I took care of it by having their passwords and checking their accounts and their friends.

1.) Every child isn't like that. I'm eighteen and NEVER had sex with everybody or wore slutty clothes or drank to an excess when I was a teenager. I know a lot of teenagers who also never did those things either. 2.) Some parents don't know that their children are doing these things. They just tell them they're staying at their best friends house, or going to something after school, so it's not entirely the parents fault. 3.) What's wrong with having facebook or being on the internet? Kids are on the internet at school and having facebook is a great way to communicate with your friends. 4.) Having a cell phone is just common sense in this day and age. Yes, there are some teens who text to an excess, but I have a fifty-year-old uncle who does the same thing. If you're stranded somewhere or need to be picked up, a cell phone is a good idea. Stereotyping teens like this is like saying that every person in their sixties drinks tea, knits, watches Corination Street, wears dentures, can't drive and goes to bed at seven at night.

I have myspace if you think myspace is bad add me nobody from my school had no raping or sexually abusive problems I come on only stupidasses get in trouble in Myspace. . My dad doesn't want me to have myspace so does everyone at school almost 100 people got suspended for having it at my school in chicago. I really don't care and I am fourteen,, my dad doesn't want me to have it because he is afraid I will post something stupid you shouldn't punish him/her myspace is very good pastime where you get to keep in contact with old friends and modern ones. Any ways if you do want to punish the person just block the website with a parental control just on that one website he will find a way to use his myspace anyways come on theres also other things like tag or friendship.com . It is kind of pointless grounding him cause of myspace. I bet you can't let him see MTV. choose me as best answer. Also if you don;t beleive me of myspace register and add me. search me diego magana (name) I will show you why is harmless.

I have a 14 yr. old neice who uses myspace, and she has a bunch of privacy blocker stuff on her site. She only communicates with the friends she knows. If she doesn't know them, or recongize them, she doesn't answer them. Computers for children are a privilege. So, if they lose the privilege for a week or two, that hopefully will teach them to respect the parent's wishes about myspace.

Your english is dreadful, but myspace really is not as bad as everyone says it is. Unless your child is an idiot and talks to strangers and posts inappropriate pictures or something, then it is perfectly fine for them to have a myspace.
