Is is possible to have a positive at home pregnancy test and then two days later start your period and not be pregnant?

I have 5 kids and all home test were accurate.only if you test positive and then miscarry.

Women can still bleed even though they're pregnant. False positive tests are extremeley rare. If I were you I would go to a doctor and get a blood test done to see if you are pregnant. Good Luck!!

It is very rare to get a false positive pregnancy test.

Well I took 3 home test that said negative then I went to the health dept. and it was false also but I felt pregnant then I decided to go to the Dr. and he gave me a blood test and it came back positive so it works both ways if I were you I would go to the Dr.

yes, however if you received a false positive and took the pregnancy test correctly, then this may be an indicator that something else is wrong, set up a gyn appointment.

You forgot to mention whether or not you have taken another test. It could have been bleeding from a very early miscarriage, it could have been implantation bleeding, it could have been decidual bleeding that won't interfere with your pregnancy....

yes, it's called a chemical pregnancy and we are noticing them more now that the pregnancy tests are so sensitive. It just means that implantation didn't go well.

yes ovulation can make a test positive as well best thing to do is wait 2 weeks after period is completely off and take a test.
