First look in the Recycle Bin and see if it's there. If it is, restore it to the desktop. Then click on Start, Programs and see if it's in the list of programs. If it is, right click on it and send it to the desktop. Chances are all that is missing is the icon, which is the shortcut. If you simply can't find it, then click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. When the list loads, look on the left side and click on Add/Remove windows components. When that list loads (it will take a minute or two), scroll down until you find Outlook Express. If there is a check mark by it, it's still loaded. If the checkmark is missing, put a checkmark there, close the control panel and restart the computer so the addition will take effect.
One more place to look: Click on My Computer, then Drive C (your hard drive), Program Files and there should be a folder labeled Outlook Express. Open it and if you find the OE.exe file, click on that.

did you delete the icon or the application. if you deleted the icon, go to your program files/microsoft/outlook express and find the .exe file and make a shortcut icon to put back on your desktop. if you blew away the whole application. download a new version of Internet Explorer and that should load a new copy of Outlook Explorer for you. you may also want to look at this page http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?ID=FH;EN-US;oex

Did you delete the desktop icon or the program itself? Look under the Start button and all programs. If you deleted the actual program you might be able to do a system restore or system recovery.

You cannot delete OE, it's integrated into Internet Explorer, it's on the PC somewhere, search for it. It's there...

see if it is in the recycle bin. you can restore from there. If its not there, try using system restore. Otherwise you will have to get the office install cd.
