Honestly the tough times are the only way we can really learn about peace. If there was no opposition in life, everything, every emotion would be at an equilibrium and there would not be peace because we would not know adversity. After coming through something genuinly troubling we often fall back on spiritual belifs or back to a tranquilzed state and in that state of mind we begin to have peace and come to terms with things. And no trial or conflict lasts forever, when it's over we come out stronger.
