it's a taboo for certain people not to marry a person with same surname (it's indicate both from same blood line) even though the family family are not close.

Yes I would. To me there is nothing wrong with it as long as you guys aren't related somehow. Besides, isn't that the only thing people try to avoid, getting married to blood relatives. So I beleive if he/she isn't related to you then go ahead.

I wouldn't care if a person I was marrying had the same surname... Although, I prefer having different surnames, it makes it more fun. My last name is fairly rare, tho, so I doubt I would ever come across someone with the same name, let alone decided to marry him.

Where is it a taboo? In the U.S it's a taboo to marry someone that you're related to (and it's illegal if you're very closely related), but it's not a taboo to marry someone with the same last name. I've know people who have done it--they weren't related, they just happened to have the same last name.

How about if they have a surname that's the same as your first name? Like, if your name was Kelly and their last name was Kelly.
I'd think you'd want to avoid that more.

providing there was no blood relation....i would not hesitate in marrying someone with the same surname.....to think i wouldnt have to get new licenses, credit cards, bank accounts....in fact it would be a hell of a time saver.....

Wouldn't that save you some money? I don't care for superstitions, so yeah, I'd do it. I'd just have to check that we're not first cousins or anything.
