I don't have a ton of money for prom this year, and I need help. I need to find a cheep prom dress that still looks hott! Something along the budget of a max of $150. Any helpful ideas? I have a couple of friends that can sew, so alterations won't be too big of a deal. PLEASE HELP ME!

Yes I'm a guy, but I just got through doing a lot of online shopping for my girlfirend. If you go to Baby Phat online you'll see and assortment of Prom styled dresses for well under the price rang that you're looking at. I can honestly say that the quality is high and the styling is very European.

I always buy my dresses at Dillard's. They do have some cute ones at Macy's sometimes though. And just a little helpful hint, if I were you I'd also try to find a black dress. Black is the color of the year for dresses. Good Luck and enjoy prom!

Let me give u advice- when u go to a store like JCPenney or so, dont think--eww this is JCPenney. Just get what looks best on YOU. Sometimes you'll find weird things fit well on your body if you dont think about the company.

There are tons of online sites for this. You can always go to a boutique near you to try on dresses, just tell them your budget.

Hey, I know this sounds a little eww at first, but I would really check out Ebay--sometimes they have some really pretty (and cheap!) stuff. Happy shopping!
