Yes...that is wrong. It is not your right to be able to physically harm others, men or women, especially women. If you feel like you are about to lose your temper, you really should LEAVE and take some time to cool off. It is morally wrong to hit your wife and you could go to jail as well.

You got to be kidding asking a question like that. Lets turn it around. Lets say you pissed your wife off so after you fall asleep she tucks you into the bed so you can't move and defend yourself and then she beats you to a pulp. Was she wrong?

You don't hit women ever. If you get that pissed go cool off somewhere or go stay at a friends house for the evening

There is no excuse for beating anyone because they pissed you off. It doesn't matter who it is, but how can someone even try justifying laying their hands on someone the are supposed to love? I hope you aren't the one who is getting hit, and if you are, please get out before the damage done cannot be fixed. If you are the one doing the hitting, you need some serious help. Having to ask the answer to this question obviously means that there is some doubt somewhere in your mind whether or not it is right, and there is no doubt, IT IS WRONG!

I don't know what your wife did wrong to you,
but you are wrong in beating her.
Two wrongs do not make a right.

She has two choices.
She can forgive you or call the cops.

Most women will call the cops.
Once a woman is beat by anyone, she
no longer trusts the beater.
Some times, one strike and you are out is the rule
when it comes to beating a woman.

For one thing if a man beats his wife he isn't a man at all, what he needs is his a** kicked real good by a real man that doesn't beat his wife. He needs to be thrown in jail is what he needs.

Do you want your wife to beat you up if you pissed her off?

You don't beat up people just because they don't agree with you; especialy, your own wife.

You need good counseling.

I would suggest you talk to Senator Biden about this. You know...the one that gave us the Violence Against Women Act.

Actually domestic abuse is about equal and we need to address both sides. I would like to invite you to Shattered Men because I think you can learn to deal with this much better then to want to beat her because she ticked you off.

Actually there is a first step that we need to take to have a right relationship with anyone. You can find that first step in the link below but to join Shattered Men, come here:

Note to s l Actually no you can not restrain you wife as you suggested. You can be arrested for that. I know of some that were arrested for doing this to protect her from hurting herself. Also, even if you are defending yourself, you can have bruises all over but if she has one mark on her...you will be arrested.

For those who said just leave...well a man has a problem there too...if she blocks his exit and he touches her to move her out of the way, he can be arrested for assault. If he blocks her exit, he will be arrested for unlawful confinement. Double standards? Oh yea...but we can thank the Violence Against Women Act for that. Come to Shattered Men to find out more about this . If we do not look at BOTH sides...more women will be harmed in the long run.

Yes, it is wrong for beating her up, that's called abuse and you can be reported for domestic violence. There are other ways to handle a situation like that.

If I were her, I would have called the police to arrest you.
