How can you tell where an asian person is from (Taiwan, china, korea)???

They are my neighbors, I would ask them, but they dont speak english....

You can't tell which country we are from. Although we Asians look exactly alike, our native countries are very different. We look the same, act the same, and we all have a very funny smell. If you ask us nicely though, we usually will answer very politely.

There are subtleties within the face like cheekbone structure, etc. that give some regional location away. It's not perfect, but its something.
