A friend told me that there is a type of contact on the market now that you wear overnight. Then in the morning you can take it out, and the contact has actually temporarily changed the shape of your eye. So, as long as you wore the contact long enough while sleeping, you don't need to wear it at all during the day and you can see perfectly. Yes - they are called Ortho-K. I've had mine for about a year and are brilliant. The great thing about them is that, unlike surgery, the effect is totally reversible.
