Yes. Our neighbor's dog got out and was charging towards passersby. I called 911 and was on hold for about 6 min. When I finally got an operator, I was told to call Animal Control. Thank God no one got bit that I saw, but I think police should have come out. I have tried to call Animal Control in the past for a dead dog in an emply lot. The poor thing stayed there for a long time till someone picked him her up...

I'm up to 6+x.
1. Guy crashed his car in the back and under a parked Semi, while he was of course intoxicated. Luckily no one was killed.
2. Head-On Crash, a few cuts and bruises, but everyone walked away.
3. Naked Man on side of Highway 10 by Palm Springs, thought he was going to walk out into traffic. Busy holiday traffic weekend.
4. Another car crash, no death
5. Fire
6. Someone was dumping oil and gasoline down the sewer system.

Actually there may be a few more, but probably a few more accidents.
Fortunately, I was not involved in any of the above.

The first time was when my dad went into a diabetic coma when I was 9
The second time was when I was babysitting and cut my finger, passed out and woke up and the kid asked me if I was gonna call, I was so disoriented that I did
The third time I locked my baby in the car
The fourth time was just the other night, I started having bad heart palpatations and got lightheaded, was home alone with the kids and couldn't get ahold of my boyfriend to come check me out (he's a paramedic)

My hubby and my son were trimming trees in our yard with a chain saw- well my H let my son climb the ladder to get this one limb and he had told him when the limb starts to break with the cut stop chainsawing-H was holding the ladder well when the limb started to go my son didn't stop cutting and he fell from/with the limb/ladder and the saw came down and hit my hubby in the head!!! My son ran into the house hyperventilating and then my H came in and all I could see was the whites of his eyes-he was covered in blood!! I F***king freaked out!! He ended up with 27 stitches but he's ok now ( I think!)

I had to report the suicide death of my husband. I don't actually recall making the call but was informed of it later and the tape was played for me.They kept telling me to check if he was breathing, or for a heart beat. I was laughing hysterically, as by that time I was lying next to him on the bed, holding him to me. I still can't believe it was me, in my own voice who finally said to them "I ****** this man not 12 hours ago - do you REALLY NOT think I could tell if he were still LIVING!!! HE IS DEAD FOR CHRIST SAKE!!" We really do say some pretty out of character stuff when we're pushed to the wall. Excuse the little trip down "morbidity lane"...

Someone in my office accidentally faxed 911. (misdialed) Sure enough the Police came ready for action. When we assured them it was a mistake they checked all around, then relaxed and told us to be more careful before they left.

Yes! I saw a hit and run and I called the cops because that's what a good citizen would do and I learned that from my gov't teacher.
