I think it's generally accepted that Vienna is an outstanding city, but Zurich is worth a visit.

For Accommodation, make sure you're centrally located to save on time and money - both will be in short supply for wanting to apply to things you most want.

I did not enjoy Zurich at all.
It reminded me of a German City - all money, business etc. Not a good place for Tourists.
Vienna is one of the mosy beautiful cities in Europe. You can go to Grinzing and drink the white wine and sing and make friends. The food in Vienna is fabulous. The Viennese speak German but it doesn't sound like German - it is much softer.

vennia has alot more to offer ,then zurich ,any hotel that you can afford
