I've seen suggestions from a couple weeks before the party to a couple months before the party. My 13th birthday is in 2 months and I was just curious to see when I should start thinking about choosing what to do.

Start now and plan, writing down things you want to do, make up your invite list, pick the theme if you have one and let it sit a week, then review and either leave as is or change some things and before the last month start your total review and start buying what you need and give out invites.

I think you should plan about a month before hand then send out invites as soon as you know what you are going to do for your big bash!!! I remember mine like it was yesterday...fun times

It depends..... if your having a huge bash, start planning now, but if your just having a small party, wait a month
