My computer has 2 harddrives. I installed a game on the one without windows, and now it won't run. I know the game is OK, it runs on another computer. What should I do?

Hi My Bro. Stephen H.

Well Video games are so demanding Especially new ones. But for your problem i think it's not where you installed the game, it's whether your PC supports it or not--(i think)
And that is why i think it worked out perfect on the other PC And not yours.

Try to check the Read-me file Or the Manual (of the game) to verify if your PC has the minimum requirements for that game.

You should have xxx GHz CPU| xxx MB of RAM |xxx MB VGA and so on---as needed to run the game.

In case you don't know how to check you PC's XXXs
To check the CPU Speed and the RAM Amount Right click on the "My computer" icon (on the Desktop or the Start Menu) And press "Properties",And on the bottom right corner of that window the CPU speed is in Ghz or might be in Mhz and for the RAMs its in MB

for the VGA it's a little more complex. Right Click On your Desktop choose "properties" go to "settings" then "advanced" then to "adapter" and then in the center of that window you should find "Memory Size: xxx MB" that is the VGA Power.

if your PC does not meet the minimum Reqs Of the Game and it's that important to you, consider upgrading you PC to meet those settings provided by that game.

So at the end i hope that i helped in any way, and please pardon me if I'm not so clear cause English is not my Language.

Peace

Assuming your PC meets all the minimum requirements, there is no reason that you shouldn't be able to run the game from a second hard drive. I have loads of games running off my second (non OS) hard drive.

Firstly, are you able to run ANYTHING from the second drive?!?

Second, did you simply copy the game files to the second drive, or did you install it onto the second drive using the setup program on the game cd?

My suggestion is:

1) Check you meet minimum spec

2) Install game using original game CD, specifying the second hard drive when the game asks you for the installation path

The game depends on the Operating system of windows, put it on that drive, it will work then...
