*spoilers*
in ep.54...as sokyoku (the phoenix) is about to be realeased on rukia, ichigo stops it with his zanpakuto while some of the captains who were against her execution unseals an artifact that stops the phoenix. After that, ichigo then frees rukia and destroy the execution stand and prepares for a final battle against byakuya

There are 2. The first is Episode 41, where he gets to her, but is stopped by Byakuya Kuchiki. The second is where he actually rescues her, at Episode 54.

i think it is really soon though where she is put up for exicution. And maybe exicuted. i dont know

He's trying to do it now, but keeps getting side tracked. They haven't aired the episode wher he actually saves her yet.

ep 54... when he came flying towards her to stop the attack of the sougyokou...^^... ichigo was using a cape w/c had the shihouin clan seal, that enables him to fly... he stopped the attack of the sougyokou with his zanpakuto... amazing feat, isn't it?...^^
