Nope. A good share of his home run totals have come because of steroids. The evidence on his use is very clear, even if he has no convictions. It's just unfair to count those achievements against the players who played fair.

This is a dicey question anybody that can play at a pro level for that many years, and do the things he has done,YES,I know,I know steroids-steroids-streoids.But you know ALL well 80% of the players were doing some kind of supplements. In the 40-60's it was alcohol,70-80's it was greenies or speed,The 90's steroids took over.now believe me the players will find another way to get an edge. All sports do it,ALL of America does it

What home run record? He didn't break it yet. He doesn't deserve any of the home runs he hit, or the MVP award, or the millions of dollars he had. He doesn't deserve any of the praise. He doesn't deserve to play the game.

in spite of Bonds took there is not any question that no-one hit extra HR's in the history of the game than he did. The Hr's have been actual HR's that went over actual fences. replaced into Bond's power actual? a number of it replaced into very nearly fairly stronger yet he's the actual HR king.

He can hit as many home runs as he would like but the record will never truly belong to him. It will always be marked with an asterisk: did he or didn't he. It is amazing how when suspicions are cast an otherwise stellar career becomes tainted with the stigma of unfair play

ONLY if he can prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that he was in no way involved with steroids in any way. which of course is impossible, because he is consistently digging himself into a hole, and if he was innocent, he would have said something when all of this first came out many years ago, and gotten away from everything that could have possibly tied him to the steroid issue. he didnt, everyone assumes he's guilty (including me), and now, the burden of proof is on him, i dont care if the law has to prove him guilty, in the minds of the fans, he has to prove himself innocent

No... If he does get the record ( Which unfortunity he will) he will only show that cheaters do win at the end.
This isn't the type of message they should give to the future of Stars of MLB.

it all depends if they can prove that he was taking steroids during the time he was hitting all those homeruns. until it's proven by baseball or the feds he's innocent. i don't think the major league wants to incriminate someone and then find out it can't be proven and then they will end up getting sued for slander and will probably have to pay out all this money to him.

Yes, even with steroids and muscles, you still need the timing and bat speed to hit the ball over the fence.
