now its says the disc is not blank, is there any way to erase the disc to try it again?

try DVD-R, that will work

You cannot erase a DVD+R. Only DVD-RW can be rewritable. Try using a new disc and make sure you configure your burning program to burn image files.

One program specially design for burning isos is ImgBurn.

on unless it is a rewriter dvd, next time you start to burn a DVD do a test burn first, that way if anything goes wrong then you will not wast a disk, ok it may take longer to burn, but it is safer,

Ohh, sorry, but DVD+R, and anything else with -R cannot be erased...I made a mistake on a CD-R once; I just remade it with another cd.

No and furthermore throw allof your DVD+ in the garbage! Use DVD-, you will have far less troubles!

nope..the disc is ruined for ever...try another one and if that one fails...than its your drive...its ruined..Ive had that happend to me few times..bought three burnes in the last year...

no, Only dvd-rw's can be "erased". trash it and try again.
