I am using a computer that I put together with used computer parts. I check the amount of RAM on the system properties, and it always tells me I have 127MB of RAM. Even when I use two 32MB sticks of RAM it still tells me that I have 127MB. The motherboard is from a NetVista that I fixed. O_o

You might have to fix it again.

It sounds like the system had 128 MB of RAM installed... It might be onboard memory (hardwired) and it isn't detecting the additional memory you have installed. Have you attempted to adjust the bios settings. It could also be a case of the memory you installed isn't compatible with the motherboard.

What type of memory are you installing.. what is the model of the motherboard... need more info..
