I gave my bf a massage using "hemp zap" (heat rub) because his shoulders/back were killing him. Then I washed my hands but the burning and itching persisted. Then I rubbed my face and my face got hot and itchy. Is there a way to get that stuff off my hands better than using soap and water?

You may need something that will cut grease. A lot of those rubs have an oily base.

Try DISH soap. It is made to cut grease.

Or, you might want to call a pharmacist and ask for suggestions.

Good luck!

One of the best things that I have found to use for back rubs is simple vegetable oil. Does not "pill up," and does not irritate. Cheap, too :-))

If his back still hurts after the rub, then put hot towels on it.

Maybe you can put some hemmeroid cream on your hands. The box says "stops burning and itching".
