How do I tell if my girlfriend is ready for marriage? We've been together for 3 whole years and I am 28, and she is 26. We both really love each other. I asked her to marry me 2 times so far, and she didn't want to marry me. I don't want to keep pushing the issue with her. What signals did your girlfriend gave when she is ready for marriage?

If she has said she didn't want to marry you 2 times already, that's a very good sign that she does NOT want to marry you. If marriage is what you want, then you need to look elsewhere. If you continue with her, you're going to get your feelings hurt. Move on!!

Oh my goodness. You have a GIRLfriend and you want to marry her and she is 26 and you are 28 and been together 3 WHOLE years.

You're too old to marry a girl --- you need to marry a WOMEN. After three years one NO means move on fool. This one isn't ready yet at 26 and three years she'll probably NEVER be.

She must've given you reasons when you asked her twice before. Have you worked out those issues? She's ready for marriage when she starts guiding you by the hand to the jewelry stores in the mall. I think you should just ask her straight out when she thinks she'll be ready to get married to you.

At this point, wait until she asks you. Unless you are hellbent on getting married. And if you are, and she isn't ready, you guys might not be ready to continue your relationship long term. You guys are two different levels, and you definitely want to start out your marriage on the same level.

Well, I can tell you this....if you ask her a 3rd time...and she says no...then there is something up and you need to ask her what the problem is. If you're happy just dating or living together then that's fine....but if you really want to get married and she don't....then you may want to think about finding someone else. Best of luck to you.

Hello... If you asked her twice, and she said no - she doesn't want to marry you. THIS is your signal - how much clearer can it get? What part of NO did you not understand?

My "signal" to my husband was to tell him "lets get married". Simple as that.

She does not see herself with you long-term, and is holding out for something better to come along. Sounds like you're in for a hearbreak. Sorry.

If you were taking care of business and being the man, you wouldn't even have to ask her more than once.

Signals: She brings up marriage while she's giving you a BJ.

Get a clue, my friend. Keep it moving...Nothing to see here.

You need to find out why she is apprehensive about marriage. If you feel that you are ready and she is not, invoke upon a conversation as to why she is not ready.

umm, honey...if your girlfriend said yes then she wants to marry you, when you have asked. She said 'no' twice, maybe you should consider finding someone who will say yes.
