Think about it ...chickens don't HAVE nuggets.
It's basically all the extra meat, compounded together and deep-fried.
Here is how nuggets are made:
1) Mix all your meats together
2)Add chicken skin and mix together well
3)Add sodium phosphate to make it stick together and keep it juicy
4)Mold into a nugget shape
5)Battter and bread it with flour, spices, and plant proteins
6)Add chemicals such as sodium acid pyrophosphate .
7)Add trans fats such as partially hydrogenated veggie oil and soybean oils
8)Fry in veggie oil or soybean oil (all hydrogentated, by the way)

This probably started as a joke, but as we all know, its all the bits you never thought you could eat, blasted off the bones with high pressure water jets. Mulched to a paste seasoned, binder is added to stick the pulped flesh and fat together, then water is pumped in to add bulk and weight. Finally the whole ****** is covered in coloured crumb and transfats.
