uncannyxmen.net and marvel.com/universe are both great resources on the characters.
Marvel.com uses a Wiki to allow users to update character profiles, and Marvel approves each change to an entry in order to keep it as accurate as possible.
Uncannyxmen.net has a large character profiles section, and it includes not just the X-Men, but members of other X-teams, supporting characters and villains!

There are many places that you can go one of thses is The Mavel Encyclpedia, another is the Marvel Universe but both of these may be out of date due to new characters being introduced after they were published. On the Web you can try www.marvel.com and wikipedia. X-men characters for the heros and X-men villians for the villians there is also a listing of all the teams related to the X-men under X-men teams if you use wikipedia.

You can also try Toonopedia, though it will not have villains, just the heroes, and only the more famous ones. Toonopedia keeps adding new listings daily, though, so it is worth looking at. It gives details that the Marvel site does not. Enjoy!

Archangel, Iceman, Wolverine, Jean gray/Phoenix, Mystique... Hell, all of them!!!!! ineffective, i believe that Hugh Jackman is presently filming the X-adult males spin Off for his character Wolverine! X-adult males:Origins.

marvel universe..thats the name of the comic...it was out in the 80s .there was 10,but it had the whole super hero thing in the marvel univers...including x-men.

Awesome book, I think hastings has this too sometimes (was on the sale rack like 3 weeks ago, if I recall correctly)
