OK, recently I have realized that alot of black guys are going for the i guess the " prep white boy" look by this I mean wearing Hollister, AE, and Aeropostle and etc... I do it because I feel that its a better look for me I use to wear big clothes and stuff but its just not me anymore.. Give me some Bootleg jeans and a top from Hollister and im happy lol.. Do girls like it?? Just looking for some opinions ~Peace~

Personal opinion, all men (regardless of color) look very good dressed as if they put effort into there wardrobe. That does not necessarily mean name brands. As long as the pants fit and the shirt is clean and well fitting, the man looks as if he cares and seems much more approachable.

I have never seen a black guy dress preppy. Down here in Oklahoma they are wannabe gangsters, but how can you be one if you live in such a small town? Anyway. I dig the prep style. It isnt necessarily (white boy) style. When hollister, AE, etc. came out with their clothing line, they didnt advertise there clothes as "clothing for whiteys" If a black guy showed up to my school one day, wearing hollister n' stuff. I'd be like..dang. thats cool. & different. Dont worry about if other people are going to be like "wtf?" You are you..and you dress how you dress. Everyone was made to be unique.

personally, ive neva seen a black guy dressin preppy, but im from atlanta soo..not the most preppy place, but personally i cant stand it when guys where hollister and those clothings...i actually kinda hate it, gurls ok, but tight shirts in guys....ummmm no, nd i also hate guys that wear flip flops-not the guy neccisarliy jus the concept...that help?

i love it! i think a guy should b well dressed by wearing AE and abercrombie and fiitch. also they should b able to pull of the athletic look too.
