I can type fast but tend to make errors once in a while. I have gotten used to not looking at the keyboard or the screen when typing due to having two keyboarding classes in my freshmen year which sucked.

I'm a moderate typist. I was watching the Anna Nicole trial yesterday and I was trying to type along like I was the court person who transcribes everything (stenographer I think) and I couldn't type more than a few sentences before falling behind in what they were saying. It's a bummer too because those stenographers make a lot of $$.

Fast type but with lots of errors.
If I look at the keyboard, I am in deep trouble. I can look at the screen and do all right though.

I am an awesome typist and no I don't have to look at the keyboard when I type. It's really easy not to. I think most people don't have to.

Hi bambi back in the days of telex when the machine limited you to a speed that the machine could cope with, and yes i did say the machine as it would be limited to 66 words a minute. so that is no longer an issue now but to type fast no longer has any real value, some speech recognition software can be very fast. accuracy and spelling is really the big issues and working around the american english is yet another.

I am afraid to say, I'm a rather slow typist. My wife, on the other hand is like a machine. She can actually type faster than people can talk! (She needs a hobby.)

For the amount of fingers I use to type (typically two, sometimes I get four going with certain moves) I type pretty fast and accurate.

i type fast but i dont type with all 10 fingers. i opnt look at the keyboard all the time either.
