Shes married .. she knows im gay. we make eye contact all the time for seconds and its confusing. She always throws hints by telling me how much she cares.. I like her so much its beyond physical means

Here's my take on it: she's an authority figure, she knows you're gay, and she is somehow trying to communicate that someone is on your side. I do not think she is hitting on you for sexual reasons (few teachers are ignorant enough to get involved with their students).
You answered your on question: "She always throws hints by telling me how much she cares." She isn't saying she's attracted to you, she's not saying she likes you, she's not saying she wants to have a sexual relationship. She CARES because you're her student and she wants you to be successful.

if your not in high school and attending college wait until after the class is over before "acting " that way if there is something neither you ar her will be breakingany rules . go for coffee or lunch but beware married people sometimes they are just bored and looking for a playmate and some one gets hurt.

Why not just ask her? Since you are the student, there is no chance of anything type of reprecussion towards you, and if your tactful about it, she wont' react in a bad way. Just ask to talk to her and say i am really confused and its has to do with you...and go on from there.

Let's hope she isn't - totally inappropriate.
If she is straight and knows you're gay, she is probably letting her guard down more with you because she feels that it's safe to express her feelings more openly without you misinterpreting...? Just a thought.

she won't talk to you like she talks to other students and when she's making funny jokes about you and tell you how cute you really look
she might even give you better grades than verybody else. if you really want to know follow her conversations with you. the ways she said things ,and how she said it to you everytimes she's talking to you. if you like her do play toughing with her, for example when she's making jokes at you play with her. that you really interesting on her just like she's interesting in you
