Probably just anxiety about his role in your future relationship.
The college symbolises the familiarily of your relationship, the wedding is the unknown future. The lack of clothes is his insecurity and the dress is taking on an unfamiliar role.
Dont worry about it.
But...did he look better than you, thats the important question!

People can pay attention to their dreams if they want to, or not pay attention. Leave it up to the person to decide. If someone else wants to look up their dreams in a dream dictionary or have them analyzed/deciphered, then I'm not going to worry about it. Dream interpretation might be a hobby for some people. If that is their thing, then I'm going to do what I like and not pay attention to them because it doesn't really have any impact on my life whether they pay attention to their dreams or not.

Marriage signifies that he is going through an important phase in his life. The fact that it is in or near the college indicates some sort of social or cultural change recently, and the fact that he's in a wedding dress represents that he has a feminine outlook on a situation.

Dreams are pretty meaningless most of the time. Sometimes they will express some of you deep, down worries but most of the time they are pretty much just things we have experience in the day, in fact you can't remember most dreams because they are so mundane.

Relating to your question, my guess is that it means nothing. The part of your brain that determines logic and reason is shut down when you sleep, so the things we dream make no sense.

He's not ready for a serious commitment. He's afraid that he'll screw everything up and embarrass himself and ruin things for you.
