I know I've asked this before but still...

I think there's a ghost in my house. I've seen him a couple of times...he wears all black and looks sortta like the grim reaper I think...I've seen him run into my mum's office and then I ran after him and he was gone. I saw him behind me once and turned around and he was gone. When I listen to music in my room I'll suddenly see something out of the corner of my eye or if I'm walking around listing to music I'll see what looks like a kid younger than me (I guessed 10?) standing in the hallway for a second then he's gone. Also when I'm sleeping I'll feel someone grab me and shake me awake and then I do wake up and it's 2:00AM and no one's there. Also if I walk around my room I'll suddenly feel this weird chill...

Do I have a ghost?

It sounds like you deffinitly have some ghostly goings on.

I am a paranormal expert and I study the phenomenon...some 27 years now.

I'd guess that unless there is a logical explanation for the goings on in your home, that it is a combination of ghostly occurrences which is plaguing your family.

First off, I'd ask if you are the only one witnessing these things? If so, I'd suggest that you are probably young and open-minded. They often reveal themselves to those who are open.

Secondly, they often show themselves to teenagers, so I'd guess you are young.

What you describe, by the "grim reaper" is one of several types of ghosts. The kind that disappears when you see it out of the corner of your eye...ducks behind walls or just out of your sight fast as you turn toward it, is called a Shadow Person, and more and more reports of those are being heard of nowdays.

The Grim Reaper sounds like it could be a shadow person, or a poltergeist, or an actual spirit, but because it's black...I get a very negative feeling about it and it could also be a demon. The fact that it's shaking you awake tells you it wants to communicate with you.

I'd tell that one to go immediately.

The little boy is possibly either a reoccurring memory of something that occurred there, or it's an actual ghostly apparition/spirit.

Don't be afraid.

That is very important.

I want you to tell an adult. I want you to tell them it's also shaking you awake. This is very bothersome and worrisome...and it could have a malicious intent.

I'd also like you to pray over the house and your room tonight.

Ask God to come in and to guard your house. Ask that he sends angels to watch over you and to guard you with their fiery swords of protection, and pray for the blood of jesus to cover your windowsills. I'd also ask God to banish all spirits from your home and to send them to a place that he has assigned to them, where they cannot come back upon you or anyone else, nor send anyone else in their places. I'd ask him that in the place of the spirits if he would send peace and a cleansing of the house and all people residing in it.

As you pray these things, please take some oil and put one drop above every entrance into the house...doors, windows, everywhere and bless it in Jesus' name everytime you do. A ghost and a poltergeist and demons cannot stay where God is. It's a fact. They will go.

I would pray it just as described above and then I'd end it with, "In Jesus' name, Amen".

I don't know your faith or belief system, so I hope I don't offend you. If you do as I told you, however, you will be protected and it will leave.

I want you to tell your parents about this immediately, either way, however. It would be good if they helped you pray.

Good luck. :)

I doubt if you have a ghost. It may be that you are stressing yourself out and this could mean you begin to panic. Have you discussed this with anyone? Perhaps a guidance counsellor or other adult you can trust. Tell someone you trust not to make fun of you as this is real to you and needs to be treated with some respect.

I don't believe in ghosts, myself, but even if they do exist, you have nothing to fear. The general agreement is that they have no physical form and therefore cannot harm you.

Good luck - and don't run up or down the stairs in the dark, it's dangerous!

The general concensus on ghosts is that they're either caused by electromagnetic interferences, or simply tricks of the mind. Although the brain is a complex mess of neurons and synapses, information between the brain and the eyes for example can easily trick you into seeing things that aren't there, or that you want to believe are there.

I remember watching poltergeist when i was too young against the wishes of my parents and i was terrified for days, but you quickly forget about it. Its all sensory perceptions...

I'm sure you'll be fine. Watch less supernatural before you go to bed is my suggestion!
