Its a bit strange that this question came up, since i just saw that movie for the first time a couple days ago. I loved it, it had a great plot, was very interesting, and makes you think about the world you live in. People need to make more of these kinds of movies, instead of mindless boring, unoriginal movies.

Is a good film, very European, for an American film, in that the hero dies at the end, and the music is great, shame they did not use the original version of 'Mad World' - I do like Gary Jules verson, but the original is better - written by Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears UK no 3 in 1982. It was a bit more up-beat. The Jules version is better in the film context however I suppose.

Great Film!

The film is really brave, I mean to get Swazie to play a pedophile, he is going up in my esteem, He also played a perverted sleeze golf instructor in the film keeping mum -

I thought it was great in that it was not dumbed down too much, and I was suprised to see that in having corrected the future, he died, and that his life was the result of the mistake in time happening. I saw it in London, and was sitting next to Jonathan Ross, but aparently I did'nt notice him, it was my mate who pointed him out at the end... lol must have been a good film if I didn;'t see him.

For the longest I never watched that movie because i was afraid of the rabbit. I seen it 2 weeks ago and have seen it 4 times since then. It makes me feel like i'm spinning thru time. Plus, I have a crush on Jake.

It's an amazing film, the take on the possibility of a parallel dimension and the way we are linked to it are actually plausible. The acting is great, especially the camp Patrick Swayze lol. The music is great too, but it's been over played now and lost it's effect, but it works perfectly in the film.

It's definitely in my top 5 films.

My daughter learned about Donnie Darko a year or more ago and asked me to watch it with her. Had to see it twice to really get it, but I think it's very cool.
