How Historical of you...(wrong section, sorry, although, i guess it is histoical....)

to answer your question... i think modern magic has had to step up, not bcome a third-rate reflection of it's former self... modern magic has to really really shock... back in the day, a man levitating was amazing, beyond words. now we just go "wires, david blaine, seen it before..."

I think magic has got better. My favourite thing is where they know that you know how a magic trick is done, so they do it a new way. You're saying "it's behind his elbow(for example)" then he shows you it's not. so you go, "so if he didn't do it how i was expecting, how the heck did he do it?" it's a whole new dimension. so i think; modern magic, better than previous magic.... old magic is third-rate. we all know the tricks. it's the new tricks that really baffle us.

No. Magik has many books. How do you rate caliphate demo gorgon by its name? You don't. Never by name!
Every book has a seed. Plant what you find. Always remember that Magik is but misunderstood practical technique and tomorrow technology.
