i for my area do in comparison to DC shoes in any respect. solid shoes i've got skated are Emerica Reynolds 3s, Nike Blazers, Van J-Lays, and Adidas Campus Vulc. the only thing the shoes really do are extra comfort and re inforced where needed. so the toe and the heel. if you not going to do big tricks tho you wouldnt need 'em.

nike sb are the best yes it does make a difference cus if u skate vert u should get wider ones

i used to sk8board and dcs were all i wear. they make it easier to stay on the board and they are more comfortable. i stop sk8boarding but i still wear them
