No one should be allowed to build coal burning power plants anymore. The technology exists to build high efficiency gas burning plants that produce almost no emissions and there is technology to build completely safe nuclear power plants that have little to no wast issues.

It has nothing to do with Global Warming either, just makes sense for all of us.
