There is one road where it is an optical illusion that you are going up hill but you aren't. They say a bus crashed there a long time ago killing several children and if you stop your car and put it in neutral the car is pushed up hill by the children. Some go even further and say that if you put flour on the trunk of your car and then do it when you look at the back you will see little hand prints.

There is also an old abandoned hospital that some say is haunted.

I think there were more but I can't remember them now.

A black dogs is the call given to a spectral being got here upon on the whole interior the folklores of the British Isles. The black dogs is basically a nocturnal spectre, oftentimes reported to be linked with the devil, and its visual attraction became into regarded as a portent of dying. that's oftentimes meant to be greater than a actual dogs, and customarily has great, glowing eyes.that's oftentimes linked with electric powered storms (which includes Black Shuck's visual attraction at Bungay, Suffolk) and likewise with crossroads, places of execution and historical pathways. Its Welsh type is limited to the sea-coast parishes and on the Norfolk coast the creature is meant to be amphibious, rising from the sea via nighttime. The origins of the black dogs are complicated to make sure. that's impossible to envision despite if the phantom originated interior the Celtic or Germanic components in British custom. for the time of ecu mythology, dogs have been linked with dying. Examples of this are the C?n Annwn,Garmr and Cerberus, all of whom have been in some way guardians of the underworld. This affiliation seems to be because of the scavenging conduct of dogs.that's achievable that the black dogs is a survival of those ideals.Black dogs are basically approximately universally regarded as malevolent and a few (such because of the fact the Barghest) are reported to be straight away risky. some, notwithstanding, like the Gurt dogs in Somerset and the Black dogs of the putting Hills are reported to act benevolently. I live in Indonesia. There is bunch of ghost stories here. Mostly, i live in Surabaya. A lot people die when Dutch came to our country for 3 1/2 century. I don't remember every single one. but the one i remember is about a young lady ghost who always wearing purple dress. It happen on kya-kya street. It's a street which open from about 8 pm - 11pm and sold all kind of chinesse food, souvenire, and fortune teller. Every late nite, she showed up to a young guy who sat alone. When the guy saw her, the ghost make him follow her. The guy think the ghost is tesing her. But when they reach the quite corner of the street, the ghost walk onto the wall and disappeared. They almost get fooled. But most of them never came back on that hour.

Isn't it creepy?

I'm in Iraq Baghdad.
I've heard many ghost stories in Baghdad and I'll tell you some>
When my grandpa was about 15 year old he lived in a village (which is his home called Shamiyah near Baghdad) in a house and he was alone in that house, but of course sometimes some of his friends go visit him, he says that he always and everyday at that time felt of the ghosts around him for example while he's in the kitchen he hear some noises upstairs and when he go to check he finds things moved from its original place and he even heard some whispering and foot steps, and a friend of him that we know stayed with him one night and heard that (of course the next day he ran away).

And some stories that are not very certained>
There's a house near my school which is not lived by anybody and it's for sell, I heard that someone was wanting to buy it so he went there to check it and when he got out of it he found his car moved for few meters, and till now it's not being lived by anybody.

And near that house there's a house that is lived by a woman and her brother which is kinda mad, and there's a basement in that house which you can enter it from the garage, we hear that her brother entered it one day and when he got out he was mad, now it's closed and I heard that nobody enters it.

I live in North Carolina and there are all manner of ghost stories throughout the state.

Fort Fisher, near Wilmington, is said to be haunted by the ghosts of those who died defending it, Fort Bragg has allegedly been the site of a spectral World War II paratrooper hovering over one of the drop zones yelling "Help me" and Bentonville is awash with holdovers from the Civil War battle that took place there.

I'd recommend the books "Tar Heel Ghosts" and "Ghost Tales of the Uwharries" if you'd like to learn more--and if you can get them in your area.

I don't have any ghosts where I live but my brother lives in New York City and his apartment was haunted for a while by the former tenant who died right before he moved in. She was an old lady and had been living in the building for years. He said when he would be falling asleep he would feel a presence in the room and he said it felt like someone was close to his face staring at him. Yikes.

the main building of my school is supposedly haunted by the ghost of some worker that was killed in a construction accident. I have no idea if its true or not since ive never seen it myself but lots of the staff and students have said they have seen it after school hours. In my senior year im planning on hanging out after school until night with a few friends to see if its true, but I doubt it is.
