I was wandering why kids had to go to school so early in the moring. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO GO PERIOD??

Why do kids have to go to school? TO LEARN! In addition to math, reading, science, and social studies, I think K-12 schools should also prepare kids for the REAL world by offering classes that explain how to write a check. Balance a check book. File bank statements. And the importance of good credit and low interest rates. Maybe we'd see a lot fewer bankruptcies by people under the age of 25.

Are you kidding?
1) It's preparing you for the REAL world, college being an excpetion. Beyond the whole learning thing which I KNOW is important, you WILL have to get a job someday and you WILL have to get there by 8:00 and leave by 5:00.
2) It's learning. You're getting social interaction and adapation and growing. Also you're learning from people who hopefully know their stuff.

Considering the multiple spelling and grammar mistakes in your brief post, I would think it's pretty obvious why kids need to go to school.
Quit whining, some people in the world would kill for the chance to get a decent education, and many people have to get up far earlier in the morning than you do.

So they can have a future and learn.Even though school doesnt help alot of them,if we didn't have any schools or any means of education then we'd live in a world full of ignorant people.And yea I use to hate getting up in the morning.I think school should start at 10am.

We have to go early because would you want to come home at about 8 pm at night then do your homework and go to bed.
We have to go period so we don't all turn into hobos (no offense to hobos though, did you know they are financely better off then a person who owns a house and works a minimum wage job)

Think about if they didnt. Kids would either be staying at home all day getting fat and watching TV or they'd be working much earlier (slave labour anyone?) and they'd be stupid and uneducated and the future of the country would be in shambles....enough said?

They don't have to get up and go to school. They can be home schooled, or they can go to a virtual academy (online school).
The government prefers them to go to traditional schools--just so they have a free babysitter for themselves and the parents.

Because it's normal to start your day in the morning and end in the late afternoon...it puts them on the same schedule as the majorlty of their parents.

Uhm, to learn. One has to becoe productive members of society. Also, an educated workforce is preferable.
