I am Moding my XBOX and noticed that the XBOX 360 controller is USB, is there a way to rewire my regular XBOX Controller connecter (the short part) to work with the USB Controller Connector (the short part) of my 360? If so how?

So if you get a zenium 24K modchip it comes with a usb converter chip. (normally it's use for and uplink to your computer but theres firmware on #xbins so you can set up a 360 controller on a modded Xbox.
So, what are you using as your dashboard: EvoX, AvaLuanch, or Xunleased. If you have not chosen I suggest EvoX (thats short for EvolutionX) the newest version that i have is 2.889.75 Beta
3.0 is coming out shortly, I think.
Just go to the website, I'll put everthing you need there and even some new videos on install if you tell me what chip you get
(since this is your first time get a solderless modchip)

people still haven't figured out how to mod the 360 yet (except for case modding).
