This may sound weird but I enjoyed breakfast in bed once when someone prepared for me steamed asparagus and boiled egg with a mayo sauce as well as bruschetta and wine.

Best breakfast out was @ the Big Yellow House just south of Santa Barbara...yummy! The food and the view were awesome every time.

Now, my Dad is the KING of the homemade breakfast. Perfectly fried eggs, bacon not too crispy, biscuits w/ his famous sausage gravy, and the best cripsy fried potatoes you have ever had. Only problem, he lives in a different state, so it really is a treat when I get his breakfast now :(

For "dining" out, it would have to be a Southwest Omelette from a truckstop on I-35. Those were so good.

For home, my husband makes a killer knock-off of a sausage and egg McMuffin, and his corned beef and potato hash is so good.
