Where can I find info on limitations and restrictions pertaining to LLC?

I have an LLC left over from a failed company. And because the company went under, I think I can continue with the LLC with a new service or ...?

If your are in Texas you must go to Business Bureau.They know about LLc.If you're in other state,I'm sorry.
