go to youtube and search gyroball and you will see Dice-K throwing it and you'll see the positioning on the ball. To find out what it is go to espn.com. Then go to the mlb page and look on the left hand side for E-Ticket and youll see dice-k picture.

It's a slider that doesn't "slide", it goes straight, very fast and spins like a bullet. The hitter thinks it's a slider and whiffs through it since it doesn't break. We'll see if Dice-K can be consistent with it. It's not a real pitch yet unless it can be taught.
